Terms of Use

Agreement

These terms are between you and Hexa Studio, operated by Truong Tan Dat (sole founder), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the Hexa Studio desktop app ("the app") or using this website, you agree to them. If you use the app for an organisation, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

Using Hexa Studio

The app is currently provided free of charge. While these terms apply, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app, for your own work and your organisation's work.

Please don't:

• sell, rent or redistribute the app or modified builds of it as your own product;
• remove notices, or present the app as affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft;
• use it to access environments or data you are not authorised to access, or to break Microsoft's terms or service limits.

The app's source code is visible on GitHub. That alone does not grant a licence to copy or redistribute it. If we publish an open-source or commercial licence, its terms will apply to the versions it covers. If paid plans are introduced, we will say so on this website before they take effect, and they won't take away use of a version you have already installed.

Your environments and your data

The app signs in with your Microsoft account and can do only what that account is allowed to do. Some features change your environments: publishing web resources, deploying a reviewed flow to an environment tagged DEV, and SQL INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE statements. The app shows a diff or asks for confirmation before these writes, but you decide to make them and you are responsible for them.

Use the app in line with your organisation's policies and your agreements with Microsoft. Keep backups of anything important, and try changes in a development environment first.

Ownership

We keep all rights in the app, its name, logo and this website. Your data stays yours: we do not receive it (see the Privacy Policy). If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Hexa Studio without owing you anything.

Microsoft, Power Platform, Dataverse and Power Automate are trademarks of Microsoft. Hexa Studio is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.

No warranty

The app and this website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise the app will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, or that it will keep working with every future change to Microsoft's services. Updates may add, change or remove features.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit or business, arising from your use of the app or this website. Because the app is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, which today is zero. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes go to the competent courts in Ho Chi Minh City, unless the law gives you the right to another forum.

We may update these terms. The new version applies from its effective date shown above; for material changes we will give notice on this website first. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
